Description

Celebrate food, art, and community featuring talented local businesses.

The evening begins at 5:00 PM where we will collectively start our evening at Grand Fete, then proceed to the Hudson Art Gallery for an exclusive private tour of the current exhibit, Rhythms of the River that captures the wildlife and spirit of the St. Croix River Valley, setting a creative and inspiring tone.

6:00 PM, enjoy a thoughtfully curated wine tasting led by sommelier Nichole Frazer of Black Rooster Bistro, with pairings selected to beautifully complement the flavors of the evening’s menu.   The featured wines will also be available for purchase, so you can enjoy during the class or take your favorites home.

Following the tasting, join Chef Goy for a hands-on Thai-inspired cooking class that is approachable, interactive, and fun—whether you come alone, with a friend, or ready to make new connections.

Event Menu :

  •  Deep fried shrimp and pork wonton (demonstration). You'll learn the secrets to achieving the crispy golden wonton with dipping sauce alongside a curated wine selection.
  • Shrimp fried rice in a pineapple bowl. Learn the art of crafting Shrimp Fried Rice served in a hand-carved pineapple bowl for a presentation that’s as stunning as it is delicious.
  •  Prawn with tamarind sweet and sour sauce. Discover the deep, soul-warming flavors of one of Thailand’s most elegant seafood dishes. It is a sophisticated balance of earthy tartness and caramelized sweetness that defines authentic Thai coastal cuisine. Learn to balance the intense "sour-sweet" profile by simmering tamarind paste with coconut palm sugar and fish sauce with lightly crispy prawns.

The evening concludes with a Thai-inspired dessert, specially created by Charles Froke, owner of St. Croix Baking Company, offering a refreshing and elegant finish to the meal.

An unforgettable evening of art, wine, and bold Thai flavors—celebrating collaboration and the best of our local culinary scene.
