DESCRIPTION:SEASONS on St. Croix Gallery invites you to their annual Plein Air Hudson event\, featuring over 20 regional artists\, each creating a variety of paintings during this 3-day experience.\n\n\n\n"En Plein Air" derives from a French expression meaning "in the open air" and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors.\n\nYou will see artists busily working throughout the community of Hudson on August 14th\, 15th and 16th.\n\n\n\nStop to visit\, chat\, and learn from the artists about their technique and process   maybe even give them some hints as to special locations to paint in our beautiful city.\n\nOn Monday\, August 17th\, the finished paintings will be hung in Seasons on St. Croix Gallery. Join the gallery Monday evening to celebrate the artists and their work at the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony. \n\nThe evening will be filled with food\, refreshments\, music and artful conversation. You will even have an opportunity to vote and determine the "People's Choice" Award. The artworks created will be available for purchase and on display at the Gallery through September 1st.
